research network
for AI Unplugged
solutions in education
The UNESCO UNITWIN Chair on Artificial Intelligence Unplugged in Education is hosted by the Federal University of Alagoas (UFAL) and the University of São Paulo (USP). Our initiative addresses the growing disparities in access to AI in Education (AIED) by developing innovative solutions that do not depend on continuous digital infrastructure. Our goal is to ensure that the transformative power of AI reaches every learner.
Rooted in the principles of equity and inclusion, the UNESCO UNITWIN Chair on AIED Unplugged builds bridges across continents, leveraging South-South and North-South-South cooperation with partners across South America, Africa and Asia, alongside prestigious global institutions.
