Inspired by the Tupi-Guarani word Tekoá — meaning ‘the place of one’s way of being’ — TekoIA develops Artificial Intelligence training with and for Brazilian youth. Mobilising indigenous, quilombola, migrant and public school young people, the programme is anchored in three pillars: co-creation and territorial engagement, AI capacity-building rooted in cultural valorisation, and influence on public policies shaped by the demands of youth communities.

AI for Public Policy in Education and Culture

Designed to develop managers and leaders from municipal and state Secretariats of Education and Culture, civil society organisations and advisory councils, this specialisation combines academic rigour with practical applicability. It builds technical, ethical and political competencies so that participants can evaluate, design and implement AI-powered solutions that are meaningful within their own territories and local realities.

Cidade Educadora Tellescom

In Cachoeirinha, Rio Grande do Sul, Cidade Educadora Tellescom proposes a phygital learning ecosystem that integrates school, community and technology to develop critical, active citizens. The project connects formal and non-formal education, teacher development, digital inclusion and the ethical use of AI, with a focus on equity and sustainable human development.

Knowledge Production

The Fundação Telefônica Vivo and ProFuturo support the research team of the UNESCO UNITWIN Chair on AIED Unplugged and IA.Edu in research, knowledge production and dissemination. Through the publication of articles and technical notes and participation in national and international conferences, the partnership is centred on themes of education, technology, innovation and Artificial Intelligence.

Virtual Assistant — Circuito de Gestão

An AI-powered virtual assistant designed to support school principals participating in the Jovem de Futuro Programme. The solution integrates with the Circuito de Gestão — a methodology that connects secretariats, regional offices and schools in continuous cycles of planning and improvement — enhancing action plans and strengthening evidence-based pedagogical decision-making to improve learning outcomes in Brazilian public secondary schools.

Virtual Assistant — Observatório Fundação Itaú

An AI-based virtual assistant developed to broaden access to the Observatório Fundação Itaú’s collection — a platform that brings together research, data and analysis on education and culture in Brazil. The solution uses Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architecture to provide contextual and precise responses from textual content and tabular data, making the knowledge produced more accessible to managers, researchers and policymakers.

BTG Soma

Development of AI-driven strategies and tools to expand learning and increase learner engagement. The programme offers personalised mentoring, practical challenges and networking opportunities for civil society organisations seeking to strengthen their organisational management, communications and financial education.
